JobLens AI

AI summary of any LinkedIn job post
without leaving LinkedIn

Must-haves, preferred skills and salary, pulled from the job description as you browse. Plus hide the jobs you've already applied to or dismissed. Free.

The Problem and The Solution.

Your LinkedIn job search is broken. We fixed it.

Dozens of Postings, All of Them Long

Every LinkedIn job description is a wall of text, and the same roles you already applied to or dismissed keep coming back. Working out what a job actually requires - and whether it pays - means reading all of it, over and over.

A Summary Where the Job Is

JobLens AI summarizes the description in place: Must-Haves, Preferred Skills, General Requirements and Salary, inside LinkedIn's own job page. Companies and jobs you've already handled are hidden, so what's left is what you haven't triaged yet.

Your AI-powered co-pilot for job hunting

Get up and running in under 60 seconds.

Install in Seconds

Add the JobLens AI extension to your Chrome browser from the Web Store. It's that simple.

Open Any LinkedIn Job

The extension activates on LinkedIn's job pages and hides the postings you've already applied to or dismissed.

Read the Summary, Not the Wall of Text

The job description comes back as Must-Haves, Preferred Skills, General Requirements and Salary - right inside the page.

Features

A smarter way to find your next role.

LinkedIn Job Description Summarizer

Summarizes any LinkedIn job description while you browse - natively, inside LinkedIn's job page. No copy-pasting, no separate site.

  • Must-Haves: the requirements that actually gate the role.
  • Preferred Skills: the nice-to-haves you can weigh for yourself.
  • General Requirements: seniority, location and logistics.
  • Salary: surfaces pay ranges, including ones buried in the text.
  • Every bullet is checked against the posting's own wording - unsupported claims are discarded rather than shown.
  • Same model and same pipeline on every plan - a free summary is not a lesser summary.
  • Runs only on the job you are viewing - no bulk scraping of your feed.

Hide Jobs You've Already Handled (Free)

Applied, dismissed, already seen or promoted - make them disappear from your LinkedIn job search.

  • Per-status toggles for dismissed, viewed, applied and promoted jobs.
  • Status is read from LinkedIn's own labels on the card - nothing to tick manually.
  • Dismiss a job once and it stays hidden for 90 days across devices (Chrome profile sync).
  • Color and style cues let you skim long lists and instantly know progress.
  • Works on both LinkedIn's classic interface and the new job search UI - the right integration is detected automatically.
  • All logic runs locally; no account needed for these basics.

Keyword and Company Control (Free)

Focus on what matters: highlight the roles you want and silence the companies you don't.

  • Custom keyword highlighting directly inside job titles and descriptions.
  • Block companies by name (partial matches) to instantly hide them from results.
  • Incremental highlighting engine only scans changed content (fast).
  • Changes apply live - open tabs update automatically.

Clutter-Free Native UI (All Plans)

The summary reads like part of LinkedIn, not a popup. Built for job seekers triaging dozens of postings a day.

  • The panel renders inside LinkedIn's job page - no separate dashboard, no extra tab.
  • Switching jobs never leaves a stale summary on screen.
  • Summaries are cached locally for 24h - revisits are instant and don't use your allowance.
  • Optimized local LRU cache prevents repeat network calls.
  • Lightweight, time-bounded observers avoid slowing the LinkedIn page.

Privacy and Transparency (All Plans)

Commercial-grade safeguards with a minimal data footprint. You stay in control.

  • App settings, keywords, blocked companies and dismissed jobs stay in your browser sync storage.
  • The only job content we send for a summary is the job description text of the posting you are viewing.
  • To run the free and paid tiers we also keep your account id, a summary counter and, for a short period, a cached copy of already-summarised job descriptions.
  • Bring-your-own-key requests pass your API key straight through to your provider - we never store it.
  • Clerk handles identity and Whop handles billing, so passwords and card data stay with those providers.
  • Legal details are published in our Privacy Policy and Terms pages.

Free AI, a 60-Day Pass, or Your Own Key

Start free, buy a pass for a real job hunt, or plug in your own API key. Same summaries either way. Nothing recurs.

  • 60-day pass ($19) - includes up to 600 AI summaries, generated automatically as you open a job.
  • Top-ups are $10 for 300 more summaries, and any top-up restarts your 60 days.
  • Bring your own key: free and unlimited with a Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic key.
  • The plans differ in allowance and trigger only - never in the quality of the summary.
  • The pass is a one-time payment. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

Your Data, Your Control.

We built JobLens AI to be a tool you can trust completely.

No-Renewal Surprises

We know you won't need us forever. The 60-day pass is a one-time payment: it never renews, we never charge you again, and there is no subscription to remember to cancel.

Privacy by Design

We minimize stored app data and keep account identity with Clerk plus billing with Whop. Settings and dismissals are stored in your browser profile; policy details are documented on our legal pages.

Privacy-First AI

The only job content sent for a summary is the description text of the posting you are viewing. The result comes back to your extension and is cached locally in your browser; we also keep a short-lived server-side copy of already-summarised descriptions and a per-account usage counter so the free and paid allowances work.

Questions? We've Got Answers.

What does JobLens AI actually do?
It summarizes LinkedIn job descriptions while you browse - natively, inside LinkedIn's job page, with no copy-pasting and no separate site to open. Each summary breaks the description into Must-Haves (the requirements that gate the role), Preferred Skills (the nice-to-haves), General Requirements (seniority, location, logistics) and Salary, including pay ranges buried in the body text. It also hides jobs you've already applied to or dismissed, and companies you've blocked, so they stop reappearing in your search.
How much does JobLens AI cost?
AI summaries are free: 5 per week with a free account, no API key and no payment. If you need more, the 60-day pass is $19 and includes up to 600 AI summaries, generated automatically as you browse. Top-ups are $10 for 300 more summaries, and any top-up restarts your 60 days. If you already have a Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic API key you can use it instead and get unlimited summaries for free. Every plan runs the same model and the same pipeline - paying buys you more summaries, not better ones.
Why a 60-day pass instead of a monthly subscription?
Job search is seasonal and intense, and nobody wants a subscription running months after they've been hired. The pass is a single payment for a fixed 60-day window - it does not renew, we never charge you again, and you decide whether to buy another one.
Does this work with all versions of LinkedIn?
Yes - including LinkedIn's redesigned job search interface. The extension detects which UI variant a page uses and runs the matching integration automatically, and it is actively maintained as LinkedIn's UI evolves.
Do I need an account to use JobLens AI?
Not for highlighting, filtering or dismissing jobs - those run locally and need no account at all. A free account is required only for AI summaries, because it is how we count your 5 free summaries a week. That is its only purpose; we don't use the email for marketing.
Where is my data stored?
Account identity is handled by Clerk and billing by Whop. In-app settings and dismissed jobs are stored in browser sync storage, and AI summaries are cached locally in your browser. On our side we keep your summary counter and pass balance in Clerk, and a short-lived cache of job descriptions that have already been summarised. See /privacy for full details.
Do I need to cancel anything?
No. The 60-day pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: there is no recurring charge, no renewal, and nothing to cancel. Your paid access simply ends 60 days after purchase (or when the 600 included summaries run out, whichever comes first), and you drop back to the free tier of 5 AI summaries per week. If you want more time, you buy another pass or a top-up - we never do it for you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. As a consumer in the EU you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from the contract, even after you have started using the pass. Because the pass is sold as 60 days of access, we refund it in proportion to the time elapsed: withdraw on day 3 of a $19 pass and you get roughly $18 back. Email us at support@joblens-ai.com to withdraw - there is no form to hunt for and we don't ask why. Outside the withdrawal window we look at refund requests case by case.
What happens when my 60 days or my 600 summaries run out?
Nothing breaks and nothing is charged. Automatic AI summaries stop and you return to the free tier: 5 AI summaries per week, plus unlimited highlighting, filtering and dismissal, which are free and always will be. You can buy a new pass, add a $10 top-up for 300 more summaries (which restarts your 60 days), or switch to your own API key for free unlimited use.
How long is the data cached?
Job summaries are cached locally in your browser for 1 day, and dismissed jobs are kept in sync storage for 90 days. On our servers we also cache the summary of a job description for a short period so that repeat requests for the same posting don't re-run the AI - and a cached hit never uses up your allowance.
Do you bulk scrape my LinkedIn data?
No. The extension only processes the single job description you are actively viewing. We don't crawl or pre-collect your feed, and nothing unrelated is sent to our servers.
How do you ensure AI accuracy?
Every extracted item is anchored: we check it against the posting's own wording before it is shown, and anything the text doesn't support is discarded rather than displayed. If that first pass comes back weak - little of it anchors, or a salary looks like it was missed - the extension automatically runs further passes under different settings and merges them by consensus. This is identical on the free tier, on a pass and on your own key: same model, same pipeline, same verification.
How is salary extracted?
Salary is only shown when explicit numbers or a range appear in the description - including ranges buried mid-paragraph rather than in LinkedIn's salary field. Figures are matched back to the text and validated by a separate fact-check pass before display, so nothing is guessed or inferred. If the posting doesn't state pay, the summary says nothing about it.
What personal data leaves my browser?
The job description text you request a summary for, and your account identifier so we can count the summary against your weekly free allowance or your pass. If you use your own API key, that key is passed through to your chosen provider and never stored by us. No browsing history, keywords, blocked companies, or dismissed job IDs are transmitted.
Which AI providers process my job descriptions?
On the free tier and on a paid pass, job description text is sent to Google's Gemini API on our account. If you bring your own key, it goes to the provider you chose instead - Google, OpenAI or Anthropic. See /privacy for the full processor list.
